Which units are useful to convert quickly on a trip?
- Distance and speed pairs km ↔ mi and km/h ↔ mph are useful when travelling between metric and imperial markets.
- Tyre-pressure conversions include bar ↔ psi and kPa ↔ bar. Always select actual pressure from tyre, axle and vehicle-manufacturer requirements, not from a converter example.
- In L/100 km ↔ MPG conversion, a US gallon and a UK gallon are different, so the calculator separates US MPG and UK MPG.
- The converter only changes measurement units. It does not change legal mass, dimension, speed or pressure limits.
Important: MPG conversion is reciprocal, so 0 L/100 km or 0 MPG cannot be converted meaningfully. In that case the tool asks for a positive value.
